In a significant stride towards bolstering infrastructure development, Victoria Equipment recently completed the training of 32 operators for the Ministry of Works and Transport. This initiative marks a pivotal moment in the collaborative efforts to ensure the effective utilization of newly delivered equipment, ultimately aiming to enhance public services and infrastructure projects.

From April 17, 2024, to May 01, 2024, operators gathered at the training location in Entebbe (Garuga) to undergo intensive instruction. The training focused on equipping participants with the skills necessary to operate and maintain a range of equipment models, including the GD555-5 and WA250-6. A total of 28 participants engaged in the comprehensive program, which commenced with theoretical sessions covering equipment operation principles, health and safety precautions, and maintenance protocol


Allowing operators to apply their newly acquired knowledge in real-world scenarios

Each morning, before the commencement of training activities, toolbox talks were conducted to reinforce safety protocols and foster a culture of awareness among participants. Following the theoretical component, the training transitioned to practical sessions, allowing operators to apply their newly acquired knowledge in real-world scenarios. Through hands-on experience and guided instruction, participants gained confidence in handling the equipment efficiently and safely.

The successful completion of the training program underscores Victoria Equipment’s dedication to fostering skill development and capacity building within the infrastructure sector.
